| PLAGIARISM SCREENING GUIDELINES |
| 1 | Use a Plagiarism Screening Tool Authors are encouraged to conduct an initial check using a relevant plagiarism screening tool, such as Turnitin. Submitted manuscripts will be screened with a maximum permitted Similarity Index of 30%. |
| 2 | Review References and Citations Ensure that all quotations, ideas, data, tables, figures, and statements obtained from other sources are properly cited. Authors must prepare the reference list consistently in accordance with the journal’s required citation style. |
| 3 | Compare with Relevant Sources Authors should carefully review manuscript sections that show similarities with other literature. Paraphrasing must be substantive and must still include relevant citations to the original source. |
| 4 | Consult the Editorial Team Where potential plagiarism, inaccurate citation practices, or other publication ethics concerns are identified, relevant parties may contact the journal editor for clarification and appropriate handling under the journal’s policies. |
| Important Note A similarity score does not automatically establish plagiarism. The editorial team will evaluate the source of the similarity, citation quality, context of use, and compliance with publication ethics before making an editorial decision. |
