Main Article Content
Abstract
The library of SMA Negeri 10 Merangin still experiences limitations in collection management and library services because several activities are handled manually. This situation makes book information retrieval, data management, and report preparation less practical and restricts students' access to collections. This study aims to analyze the requirements and design a web-based Digital Library (E-Library) information system according to the needs of users at SMA Negeri 10 Merangin. The study applies the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach through planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The system design applies Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Class Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), flowcharts, database structure, and interface design. The implementation uses the Laravel PHP Framework with MySQL as the database. Black Box Testing was applied to login, book and category management, user management, search, online reading, book download, reporting, profile, and logout functions. The testing results reported in the thesis indicate that the tested functions operated according to user requirements. The resulting system provides digital collection access and supports centralized library data management.
