Abstract
Rumah Belajar ADS Bimbingan Belajar Pematang Kandis is a non-formal education institution that has been conducting its teaching and learning activities conventionally through direct face-to-face sessions, making it difficult for students to review materials outside class hours while assignment and grade management remain manual and error-prone. This research aims to design and build a web-based E-learning system called “ADS Belajar” to address these problems. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system was built using the PHP Native programming language and a MySQL database with XAMPP as the local server, and modeled using Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Class Diagrams. The system involves three user actors, namely admin, teacher, and student, with main features including user and subject management, learning material management, online assignment submission and grading, multiple-choice quizzes with automatic scoring, discussion forums, announcements, and system reports. System testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method on nine main module groups, and the results show that all system functions run according to the established design. Thus, this E-learning system has proven capable of improving the flexibility, efficiency, and organization of the learning process at Rumah Belajar ADS Bimbingan Belajar Pematang Kandis.
