Main Article Content
Abstract
ALibrary management at SMA Negeri 14 Merangin is still conducted conventionally, particularly in recording physical book circulation using an agenda book and borrowing cards. This condition creates difficulties in data management, circulation monitoring, and access to digital reading materials. This study aims to design a Digital Library Information System that supports library management and provides E-Book access as supplementary reading material. The Prototype method was used because it enables the system design to be evaluated and refined through user feedback. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was modeled using Unified Modeling Language (UML), while implementation used PHP Native, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. The system provides three main access levels: Admin/Teacher, User, and Principal. Main features include E-Book management, book categories, interest categories, user management, reviews, E-Book search and download, physical book borrowing management, statistical reports, and report printing. Functional testing was conducted using Black Box Testing. The results show that the main system functions operate according to the prepared test scenarios and access rights. The resulting web-based Digital Library Information System supports more structured library data management and facilitates access to digital learning materials at SMA Negeri 14 Merangin.
