Main Article Content
Abstract
The development of information technology provides convenience for businesses in managing sales activities and inventory more effectively and systematically. Distro Odsy is a business engaged in the sale of clothing and fashion products. In managing sales data and inventory, the business still faces several challenges in recording transactions, monitoring stock levels, searching for data, and preparing sales reports. These conditions may result in inefficient data management processes and increase the risk of recording errors. This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based Sales and Inventory Information System at Distro Odsy to assist in managing product data, sales transactions, and inventory more effectively, quickly, and systematically. The system development method used in this study is the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The designed system provides features for managing product data, categories, inventory, sales transactions, as well as sales and inventory reports. The result of this study is a web-based information system that is expected to assist Distro Odsy in improving the efficiency of sales and inventory management, facilitating inventory monitoring, and generating more accurate and structured information and reports.
