Main Article Content

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages business owners to utilize web-based systems to improve business process efficiency. Harapan Jaya Bungo Store still manages its sales activities manually, resulting in several problems, including inefficient data recording, errors in inventory management, difficulties in generating sales reports, and limited promotional media for customers. This study aims to design a Web-Based Sales Information System that facilitates product management, sales transactions, customer data management, and report generation accurately and efficiently. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development methodology, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was developed using the Laravel framework with MySQL as the database management system. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all system functionalities operate according to user requirements. The results indicate that the proposed system simplifies sales transaction processes, improves data management efficiency, accelerates sales report generation, and provides customers with easier access to product information online. Therefore, the web-based sales information system serves as an effective solution for improving service quality and operational performance at Harapan Jaya Bungo Store.
