Main Article Content

Abstract

Batik Mulia Bungo is a business engaged in the sale of batik products. The existing manual sales recording process has resulted in inefficient transaction management, inventory control, and report generation, while increasing the risk of recording errors. This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based Batik Sales Recording Information System at Batik Mulia Bungo to improve the efficiency of sales data management and reporting. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development methodology, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was developed using the Laravel framework as the PHP-based web development framework and MySQL as the database management system. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all system functionalities operate according to the specified requirements. The results of this study indicate that the developed system is capable of facilitating the management of batik product data, customer information, sales transactions, inventory records, and sales reports in a more effective, faster, and accurate manner. Therefore, the proposed information system is expected to improve operational efficiency and support decision-making processes at Batik Mulia Bungo.
